We are excited to invite you all to be a part of Trans Day of Visibility. This year our theme is a love letter to our TIGNC community.
TRANSition of Power
The inspiration for this year's theme came from our own community and the current themes in our lives. One of the most sacred things many of us have witnessed in our community is the mentorship that comes from our trans elders, which in many times takes place in our trans families. From the trans mothers who take in young trans folks who are starting their journey to our fearless leaders who paved the way for up and coming organizers to continue the fight for equity.
Like passing on the torch, this mentorship/ family gives us the light to see where we need to be, the warmth to know we will be ok, and the drive to continue on creating spaces for our youth.
This year we are broadcasting a series of interviews showcasing the mentor, mentees, queer families, and sacred relationships. These interviews will include, Just Shannon, Jojo Ty, Nya Cruz, Tita Aida, DJ Rapture (Ronnie), Pearl Teese, Mikaela Kendrick, and more!
We are also very proud to have some amazing performances by Pearl Teese, Lola Lewdovico, Jota Mercury, and Naomi Laine!
See you all Friday March 26th!
Leigh Crow and Ruby Vixen will host an evening of some of our favorite numbers from the first three years of Dandy.
We've got numbers from Nine Inch Males, Madd Dogg 20/20 & Miss Sugana, Kegel Kater, Meatflap, Tyson Check'in, Kitten on The Keys, Leigh Crow, Ruby Vixen and More!
